I have been creating things by hand for most of my life, from baking bread to brewing beer to cooking. I am drawn to taking raw components, finding ways to work with them, and making them into something beautiful. I gravitate to woodworking for the same reason.

I started On Point Boards to stretch my creativity, problem-solve, and build fun and unique wood pieces. And the name? That was a fun way to incorporate my energetic dog, a German Shorthaired Pointer, into this project. If I am not in the workshop or in the kitchen, I’m probably out on the trails exploring the world with my wife and our pup.
